Caitlin Burns, Producer and Business Consultant

Caitlin Burns is a a New York-based producer and business consultant to media companies, as well as production and strategy for international brands, television, film and game franchises, advertising and public policy groups.

In 2015, Ms. Burns co-founded Datavized, an immersive design studio dedicated to using 360 platform environments for data visualization.

Ms. Burns is a pioneer of transmedia storytelling strategies in hollywood, gaming and brands. Having spent more than 10 years creating multiplatform content strategies for fiction & non-fiction narratives, emerging technology, brands, and social issues.  She currently serves as the Vice Chair of the  Producers’ Guild of America’s New Media Council Board of Delegates and East Coast Co-Chair of the PGA Women’s’ Impact Network.

Past clients include: Pirates of the Caribbean, Disney Fairies, Disney Descendants and Tron Legacy for Disney, James Cameron’s Avatar for Fox, Halo for Microsoft, Happiness Factory for The Coca-Cola Company, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for Nickelodeon and Transformers for Hasbro. She has also worked with Ubisoft, Showtime, Pepperidge Farm, The Canadian Media Fund, The Oregon Health Authority, FEMSA, Wieden+Kennedy, Reebok, Stratasys and US Fund for UNICEF.
